Cora Robinson

“We help to provide resources for people that have disabilities, for them to be able

to live independently. This may also include helping them to advocate for themselves,

or going with them if necessary. I like being able to help consumers be able to

help themselves, and want to serve the disability community in any capacity I can.”

Cora joined the team as Counselor-Advocate about a year ago. She works directly

with consumers who want to identify and achieve personal or professional goals,

and is especially interested in young people.

She was recently awarded a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration

from Indiana University Northwest, and also holds a B.S. in Public Management

and Environmental Policy and an A.D. in Business Administration.

A resident of Gary, Cora is active with the Indiana Chapter of the National Federation

of the Blind, and is Chair of the Northwest Indiana Chapter of the NFB.
